This is a lovely app I found for my new iPad; it's called Percolator. I love the effect it gives images, and I've gone a little bit mad! Some photos work better than others - you need clear colours and strong lines for the best effect.
This is one of the mountain scenes from Shiretoko.
The wallpaper and storage chest in our loo!
Yoshi. Looks a bit diseased. The rugs on the chair in the background are nice.
Murasaki Shikibu in my garden last autumn. This is the finest setting of circles, with some of the photo itself showing through.
Rings. I think I like this one best. With some of the photo layered in the berries look properly rounded. I played a bit with the settings and had quite a few results that I liked.
Tulips in the front flower bed. I love these ones - I layered the photo quite strongly in these and the flowers just pop out of the background. I couldn't make up my mind out of these ones which I like best, so put them all up.
This one is a bit of a failure but I put it up to show the variety of effects you can get with the app.
Foxglove. I like all of these but I think this first one is my favourite.
This last one appeals to me, too.
This is a California poppy in my garden. This is very 1970's pop-arty!
I saved this one as the wallpaper on my iPad!
A rose. I like the picture below better.
One of the photos from our sunny walk the other day.
