This is why my weight is going back up...
...Isn't it beautiful?
Sigh....
It's all gone now.
The lady who grows my school Halloween pumpkins for me gave me a huge box of kabocha squash, carrots and Inca Gold potatoes along with the pumpkins.
The potatoes really are that yellow, and they make the most BEAUTIFUL chips, both in looks and taste. Egg and chips, and a cup of really hot, strong tea. The best!!!

Oh my, yes it is beautiful ... sigh ... I completely understand irresistable tempting foods like that!
Ohhh! I should have had you over for dinner this evening- or gone to yours- I found real fair dinkum shark in the supermarket and panfried it and tried to sell it to my kids as 'just like fish and chips!' and they said 'no, it's not. Where's the chips?'
If you're going to add to the natural insulation for winter I think that's a great way to do it!
LOL! You can take the girl out of Britain, but you can't take the Brit out of the girl! What, no vinegar?
Tracy, Heather, Anchan, I'd have any of you over at a moment's notice for dinner with me! It would be a hoot!
Anchan OF COURSE there was vinegar on the chips, that's the brown stuff in the photo. I ran out of my preciously hoarded malt vinegar that I found a couple of years ago, and now have to use balsamic. Which is not the same at all, but better than nothing.
Heather, your kids are not daft. Where WERE the chips???
I rarely fry anything and now I have half an inch of oil in the frying pan. Oh noes - more chips????! I need to use it once more before I chuck it. Then I won't buy any more.
Once the snow comes to you,I am sure you will get lots of exercise wading through it and shovelling it,so you need to make sure you have enough stamina. And chips are just the ticket;)
Chippies are this girls best friend. Even we aussie know how to endulge in the best that life has to offer! They look divine and the more vinegar the better!!!!
Enjoy and move on (to another plate of course)!
This looks so delicious!
looks yummy!!
I've put another few kilograms just look at this!
Love it!
I was going to post before...but too busy ripening tomatoes ...don't worry about falling off the diet wagon...it happens...but the important thing is that you got On the wagon in the first place and you want to get BACK.
The other day I was a bit shcoked to see a very overweight friend order icecream AND a Coke...just a million calories and sugar - which she just didn't need. I kept wondering why she hadn't had a mugicha or water if she was thirsty....
Some people don't seem think on a day to day basis about the Diet Wagon. But you are very different...so just enjoy those chips!
I just saw Hokkaido has snow already..... I will send you hot and humid if you send snow.. :)
did you keel over after eating the pile of yummy chips and that's why you haven't been able to Blog? or worse...YOU got struck down with the influenza?
I keep checking in here and hope all is well!
