WEIGHT LOSS

Diet and Exercise Update.

.... Hmmmmm....

I have been honest and updated the weight loss ticker. I have put on 1.2kg in the past three weeks, sadly. It is entirely deserved. I've been doing little to no exercise apart from my twice weekly aerobics class, (and missing that a lot thanks to Yoshi's flu and work commitments) and have been eating far too much, including a lot of sweet stuff. I have fallen right off the wagon, which is sad. I've also taken down the steps ticker for a while because I've gotten out of the habit of wearing my step counter so have been unable to update it accurately. I'll get back in the habit then maybe put it back up.

So, today I said to myself that I would pick myself up and get right back on the wagon. Just after I said that, I went and did a 3 mile walking DVD. And just after THAT..... I made scones with my junior high school kids (as a reward for plodding through the eiken practice with me for the past six weeks or so) and ended up eating about four of them with jam and cream piled on top. Oh yum! But there goes that exercise and more...

REALLY back on the WHOLE wagon tomorrow!

No point having a wagon if you can't fall of it occassionally! Good luck.

Take heart Vicky-I know exaactly how you feel-when I turned 42 I started putting on a few extra pounds here and there and those foew extra becuse quite a chubby little group cells....I put the brakes on the lately and have also begun an exercise program of sorts-some days I actually get on my treadmill and some days I sit in front of it at 5am looking at it while drinking my coffee and contemplating getting on it..sigh...little by little I actually have made some progress :)
I know just how difficult it can be and how frustrating at times...I'm now 48 and still struggling-but it's mostly my fault-I also love sweets.

Wagon falling off is entirely necessary to reach a goal and stick with it- if you didn`t fall off occasionly you would get to the end and the weight would pile back on- it is a lifestyle change and in life we all have little slip ups. I am sure you will be back on track VERY soon!

I am jealous of the scones though. I want scones! YUM!

Is Yoshi all better now?

Falling off the wagon makes us human, I think. : ) I have been exercising right along with you this past year. And all I can say is, sometimes I'm really good with it. Sometimes, I've blown it off completely. Sometimes in between. These past 2 month's, I've been so busy with PTA junk and other stuff, I've gone way off myself. Your post made me realize I too, better get on that wagon. Thanks for inspiring me once again my friend. And PS, I haven't been using my pedometer at all lately either. Sigh. Think I better make some changes. : )
