Eights Game!
Eight things I am looking forward to:
- The end of June and all this busy-ness!
- First veggies from my garden.
- The summer holidays (though they are going to be eaten up by this reform work.)
- My roses blooming - any minute now.
- Harry's 9th birthday at the end of the month.
- Seiju's next visit home.
- Summer festivals!
- Reaching my target weight and fitness level.
Eight things I did yesterday:
- Took Harry and Yoshi to school by car as it was pouring with rain.
- Taught two ladies classes.
- Had a long phone call with a bloggy friend!
- Chatted with my office lady.
- Sorted out employees accident insurance for another year.
- Taught three kids' classes.
- Went to aerobics.
- Came home to find Harry messing the tutor about and had long discipline session with him about it - grrr!
Eight things I wish I could do:
- Pay for the reform up front without a loan.
- Have enough money to go to England without thinking about it.
- Keep my house a bit tidier!
- Not worry about Yoshi's allergies.
- Find a few more students to replace the ones who are leaving...
- Get to my target weight.
- Take a vacation in the sun.
- Have Seiju live with us.
Eight shows I watch:

You've lived in Germany? So you're trilingual? Wow.
And I think you're quite interesting. :)
You've lived in a few places in the UK, too, hey. :)
No, I'm not trilingual... I can't speak German. We went to a British school there and didn't mix with German kids a whole lot. Now I think back on it, it was a real wasted opportunity.
I think you're pretty interesting as well. : )
You are definitely interesting! ;-) I couldn't make it past 6 places that I have lived in- very boring!
BTW- I didn't delete your comment the other day, it is still there but as you commented on the actual photo, it doesn't show on the post but on the photo when you click on it! I never moderate or delete comments, let alone nice ones like that! :-)
Thanks Midori! I have a bit of trouble with Word Press blogs - often the photos don't show up unless I click on them individually or I reload the page. I must have clicked on that one to see it and then thought I was on the main page. I didn't know you could comment on individual pics, too!
Dunno if it is a Mac problem or a Firefox problem or a settings problem....
(And he IS nice!)
You lived in Cornwall!! I'm from Cornwall! As they say, small world (but I wouldn't want to paint it...).
I actually popped in here today to tag you for another game!
6 unimportant things you love: http://monkey-magic-blog.blogspot.com/2009/06/six-unimportant-things-you-love.html
I know you're a busy gal, but have a go if you have time, I'd love to hear what you come up with. And you definitely are interesting :-)
You ARE interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Ooo Fun, fun! I had no idea you lived in Germany! Wasn't it HOT today? I thought I'd melt.
I wish they would have a Blogger, Wordpress utopia = )
Hot??? No. It was 13 degrees and POURING with rain. Absolutely horrible weather. Sniff. :(
