May 4th - Himeji Castle Walls

We walked back to the car along the edge of the outer moat. There was a wall on this side too, which the boys climbed up and walked along.
We stayed down on the footpath below and walked alongside them.
At the very end, Yoshi called me up to see the view and I was shocked to see a SHEER DROP to the water below! Luckily we didn't know before, eh?! (But it was very beautiful up there....)
We stuffed ourselves back into the car to head home. Seiju was driving and Katsu was navigating.With DS games and snacks galore, these kids can withstand any amount of travelling!
